The novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which is one of its kind of humanitarian disasters, has affected people and businesses worldwide, triggering a global economic crisis. In this aspect, the tourism sector is not being left behind. However, the Covid-19 pandemic is of the highest magnitude in the last 100 years. It provides an opportunity to participate in commercial activities to small- and medium-scale entrepreneurs and employ vast numbers of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workforce. Due to the shutdown of the tourism industry, some developing economies like India and underdeveloped economies have crumbled and face enormous loss in terms of income and employment.
